HISTORY
With a population of approximately 230 inhabitants, La Pesquera is known for its rich history and deep-rooted traditions. Located an hour’s drive from Valencia, Cuenca and Albacete, our village offers the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
In 2023, we decided to embark on this adventure and start our project, which came to an end in 2025. In our charming village, you will find the “El Chiquitisco” Rural Cottage, a place where tranquillity, nature and local traditions come together to offer you an unforgettable experience. Located on a plot of over 1,100 square metres, this cosy country house proudly retains the name given to it by the village, thus honouring its history and roots.
La Pesquera is a small, peaceful village surrounded by spectacular landscapes such as the Hoces del Cabriel Nature Reserve, the Contreras Reservoir and the nearby Chorreras de Enguídanos waterfalls. Here, time seems to stand still and the warmth of the people makes you feel at home from the moment you arrive.
Our rural house has a plot of more than 1,100 square metres where you will find two fully equipped accommodations, perfect for enjoying with family or friends.
One of the houses can accommodate up to 10 people and the other up to 6 people. Everything has been designed for your comfort: from the spacious rooms that envelop you for a restful night’s sleep to spaces designed for enjoying the calm, whether in our large living room-kitchen, where you can relax by the fire in our large fireplace, sharing a meal on the barbecue or reading in the shade of our pine trees while the children play in our large enclosed plot.
The details make the difference: tasteful décor that combines style and tradition, utensils and equipment that ensure you have everything you need, and indoor and outdoor spaces that invite both children to play and adults to relax.
